FFS send Zaza back to where he came from NOW - the thought of forking out 20 pence let alone 20m for him is alarming!

Anyway, apart from how shit we were as mentioned, on another day that Payet effort would've gone in and that assist for the Lanzani (?) chance would've counted.

They'll come good yet.

Lack of investment by the owners is the problem.

I'm going to try to be balanced here..
I'm trying not to panic.

The positives are: we still scored goals again today. So again, it's about the mistakes and the defensive frailty that needs to sorted out.

Arthur has been one of our better players lately so I wouldnt drop him for 1 mistake. Everyone has those.

Collins however, wtf? How can our slowest defender not be on the half way line? I dont care what the score is. It's unacceptable. Absolutely unheard of!! Thats worse than anything I've seen even Arse's Mertesacker do.

I dont think Nordvelt was shit, no goals came through his side of the pitch so he kind of done his job. Maybe he's not as good on the attack but a RB should defend first and foremost.

Anyway... the biggest problem here was BILIC!
Your playing West Brom. You know how they play. You watched the videos. Most of their team didnt cross the half way line. Its obvious they will hit you on the break. It's obvious that as we push up our defenders will get more nervous and make mistakes. It happens all the time with teams like that.

I just think we cant play when we arent the team countering. We cant impose our game on the opposition because we make too many mistakes and are midfield isn't that strong (noble must be knackered).

I really dont know what the answer is if we dont cut out the mistakes in the first place where doomed. Right now we'd be better off trying to keep a clean sheet than outscoring teams. We need our confidence at the back. Its just not there.

I think we should play antonio at the top and just play a 4-5-1. I think Antonio can at least hold the ball up. Sadly we have to play some long balls in because we have to draw these teams out. They just sit back against us and we have no way of bringing them out. We push up too much and lose the ball and we're stuffed.

Bilic should know this by now.

And get a hypnotist for ZaZa.. never seen a more anonymous striker.. And put in Oxford for Collins. Time to get him up to speed.

Finally, funny how we cunted off Jenkinson when he was here. But my gawd, we havent had a right back better than him since.. amazing!

My opinion on next weekends team

------------------randolph---------
Byram-------Reid-------Ogbonna-----Masuaku
-----------Nordvielt-------Kouyate------------
Antonio--------------Payet------------Feghouli
----------------------Zaza----------

Got to defend from the front, wingers will both track back and help out.
Way we are shipping goals i would not have both Payet and Lanzini starting at the moment

The corner is down the management.

Somebody must be told it is his job to be there, that can't have been made clear to whoever it was.

Shocking.

Re: ⚽ WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 4-2
between fletcher, zaza, and calleri; they have zero shots on target.

Zaza and calleri have not even asserted themselves in games yet. If bilic has any sense, he needs to start fletcher who is the only one that even looks a threat or stretches the defence.

the mental breakdowns last week and today are appalling. last week I could excuse as a bad day at the office, but we should have been laser focused today as a result, and we were probably worse. Every player on the pitch should be fucking ashamed at the way we conceded the fourth today. NO cover on a corner.

Re: ⚽ WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 4-2
we're missing Tomkins at right back- when he played there we looked more solid at the back as he moved inside when we were defending and Antonio dropped in his position effectively making us a 5-4-1 when without the ball and allowing us to counter teams. dropping and then selling was fucking daft

they also don't look fit enough poss due to late signings or players returning late from the euros/injuries

bilic needs to go back to basics- play for clean sheets and start again as we'll be fucked if this carry's on

Things are truly shit right now there is no getting around reality the team and manager look dazed and are obviously not connecting for whatever reason.

One thing for me is absolutely clear whatever the problem it is nothing to do with The new stadium, it is down to the players being mentally not on the ball, at all at all.

Re: ⚽ WBA v West Ham - Official Match Thread FT 4-2
Noedveit- worse than Antonio at RB. Byram that poor not even to be on the bench?

Zaza - had he been training with Cole? Absolute rubbish and so easily pushed off the ball for their 4th (I think) by fucking Evans There's no way that would have happened with Carroll. No running at all from him a la CFC. Calleri a much better option.

Noble worse than awful. He'll be our Nolan for this season, when everyone will eventually see how poor he is and yet is always 1st on the team sheet. Although to be fair, Bilic knows when to hook him. Shame it was 35 minutes late today, at half time.

Feghouli - superb. He'll do well.

Enough has already been said about the terrible defence.
